without dieing of shame. I'll be done with school on wednesday and the only thing I have holding me back from finishing early and snapping back into gear with some fun is a do whatever you want art project in witch I'm supposed to show off skill. I lack inspiration and though I usually think outside the box when it comes to art projects there is no such thing as outside the box and no examples to pretend are the plague. I thought maybe you people might throw ideas or music or something at me.
Back to studying for my science 'get everything right or that nice high grade of yours is nothing' test.

Well what would you say are your strong suits when it comes to art? What do you enjoy most? Figure it'd be best to find that out before making suggestions.

When it comes to visual art I tend to find myself leaning towards anime and manga-esqe stylized pencil or pen with marker works. It is very much a spectrum based on what the subject and intent are. Felines I have near perfect in every design I come up with from the mist surreal to amazingly realistic. I enjoy as far as class goes taking the rules of the subject and burning the example at the stake. When I draw for the sake of drawing it comes from a random burst of inspiration that I take from my head onto paper quickly. This is why my lack of inspiration is such a problem. (Also as a writer you understand nothing turns out as well creatively when forced, if you don't I envy you to an extent.)

Well, I'll think about it a bit, but one thing I've learned when it comes to creativity is that sometimes you have to force crap out before you hit gold. So maybe just sit down and force yourself to do a few quick pieces, don't worry about quality, and go from there. If that doesn't work, try looking over some of your old work and see if something you've done before strikes you in a new light or inspires something else. If that doesn't work, and if any suggestions I come up with fail, then I don't know what to say. Everyone finds inspiration in their own way, if you have an idea of how you do, seek it out. and yes, I know exactly what you mean, if I ever meet a writer who doesn't, I'll let you know, and give you a few thousand dollars

You have no idea how much paper this is killing. Thanks for the advice, but so far I'm running in circles with this. Ugh. At least I have nothing else I need to work on. Hmmmmmmmm...................

Yes, through a re-do of a drawing I made long ago that I knew I could do better.

Awesome, glad to hear it! I've been busy for a few days (Just got my Eagle Scout rank!), and my mum's birthday is coming up soon, but whenever you're ready to play, I will be too.
