I pretty much want to run in circles cheering at your response but it is a bit to late to do such a thing. I will send any of said art your way armed with the knowledge that even though our mental images are probably different you would enjoy seeing it.

Yep a Japanese manga. I think Kano is too used to to much craziness. I draw and read so much that really it could very well have occurred without your knowledge and simply left hidden in one of my many sketchbooks. I'll just scan it instead.

I have no clue what it would remind you of... Due to me being strictly self taught when it comes to humans and landscape it is probably influenced by a lot of things. I'm far better at cloth shading and animals than humans too so I just don't know. My art tends to be varying levels of cartoonish as well, with realism reserved for painting and assigned projects.

Its fine, it's more just my frame of mind than anything. But that alone looks good for self taught. I can do almost no shading, can't draw people well proportioned, or draw something very cartoonish or realistic. So yeah.
